Sage, Pineapple

Half-hardy perennial. Height approx 5'. Salvia elegans. Delightful aromatic herb with a strong scent of pineapple. Red flowers in late summer. Requires winter protection and is ideal to grow in a large pot. Leaves can be used sparingly in baking to line a sponge cake tin and give a subtle flavour.
