Sweet cicely

Hardy perennial. Height approx 4'. Graceful perennial with fern-like leaves and small white flowers. Leaves have a strong aniseed scent and can be used in salads and when stewing tart fruit to reduce acidity and amounts of sugar. Prefers a moist soil. Popular herb which can be difficult to find.
